Almost party time.

So, after the drama of my camera breaking last night and my minor breakdown this afternoon when i was told how much it would be to fix it?! (more than i could afford) I was again playing with the the lens and POP it went back in! Super excited i dont need to get it fixed anymore.

So, after fighting with ash on the phone yesterday i decided to make her invitations my way! LOL. Well i like them. I have 3 done! YAY only 76 to go.. whos brilliant idea was it to make these anyways. Me and my big ideas, i always have these grand plans and then get bored less than half way through.

She is having a hawiian (luau) party and wanted the hibiscus flower on the invites. I got the same flower they use for Lei's that counts doesnt it?? Anways, it is 3 layers with a ribbon know, small flower and matching rhinestone to complete the look, simple and sophisticated if i dont say so myself!

Okay, so i complain, but really i do love things like this. My dream job actually, planning parties have always been my passion. I want to help people choose themes and colors and put it all together and make lots of stuff, like these personalized invites, take pictures and see everything come together and then get paid lots of money!! HAHA. seems like a great idea only i am wayyy to insecure to actually do that! I can do it for my family becuase they usually think i am great but the thing is, i am TERRIFIED of failure. Im sure you dont understand, most people think that i am a goody goody or rediculous but really i am. I hate dissapointment and failure. So, i could never do something for a living that people depend on perfection and me. I would put too much pressure on myself and im sure would not make such a pretty picture.

I will have to work on that, but for now i will stick to family events and one day maybe my dream will come true....maybe.

The invites are very nice. I wish I had an amazing older sister who helped me plan my sweet 16!

I'm having a weekend Halloween party at my place and I'm having so much fun planning what we're all going to do. I need to make invitations and I recruited a friend of mine who loves scrapbooking and she makes the cutest cards and things but our schedules aren't working out. Maybe I'll end up coming to you for ideas! ;o)
