I found my dress!

No boys or pictures allowed becuase i dont trust the boy!

My mommy just left :( so now im sad and alone im heading off to work a bit early cuase sitting in this quiet house just makes me sad i cant see her everyday :(

We did have a great few days though! Monday started off a little later than planned becuase she got stuck in some traffic but we made it down to stoneham in time and began our dress shopping extravaganza!

Place 1: sooo jam packed full of dresses it was insane and so hard to see anything. The lady was nice enough though. We really liked one of the dresses but it still wasnt 'just right' we'll call it fav. dress 1

Place 2: after we left stoneham we went over to medford to place 2. HA! this place was a joke. I hated it and the people as SOON as i walked in, i am an idiot for not leaving right away. The dumb ass sales lady who had to be right around my age flat out refused to show me any of the dresses I wanted to try on and instead continued showing me all the things SHE would like. Not to mention she made me feel extreamly uncomfortable... loooong story that i just get aggrivated getting into so i wont. left there with nothing... ok couldnt wait to get the HELL outta there ASAP!

Tuesday

Place 3: We stayed a little closer to home and went to danvers. OMG sooo much better although anything would have been better than place 2. The sales woman was amazing and i really FELL in love with a dress thier it was just about perfect and i loved it. I was ready to put money down on it but i had 1 more apt. that i couldnt cancel took her card and the dress info and left (only tried on 2 dresses here) and we'll call this fav dress 2

Place 4: Went up to Newburypot. Loved the place it was HUGE and georgous and the people were fantastic. Tried on a lot here. Loved one but it still wasnt juuust right i liked dress 2 better still. but we'll still call this fav Dress 3

Went home and re-looked at all the pictures of my favorite dresses.

So as i looked back through the dresses i started talking about my favorite parts of my favorite dresses and started sketching out the fronts and backs of my dream dress. I took the top of dress 1, the train and detail of dress 2 and the back of dress 3....

I was still ready to put down the depost on dress 2 but figured there was 1 other place nearby that we should try for fun. Really i didnt want dress shopping to be over it is sooo fun playing dress up like a princess!

So i called as soon as they opened and they took us at noon

Place 5: the place was small but we were introduced right away to all the people there and worked with one of the owners, they are really passionate about thier place. I loved the poeple and the place. I went in with my drawing and only tried on a handful of dresses that came close.

1 was soooooo pretty and very very close to my drawing but the train was soooooo long it was way to much dress for me... and the price tag i dont even want to know! we asked but the train could NOT be altered. We were ready to leave and i was ready to buy dress 2.

But they talked me into trying on another that was not even close to my drawing other than the train size and detail.

I did like it alot when i put it on.. but it wasnt MY dress. turns out its a Casablanca which is the designer and they will actually change ANYTHING i want on the dress soooo...... leaving the detail and the train we are changing the front neckline, the back neckline, the back detail and the coloring on half of it to make it JUST like my picture!!!!!!!! I have my dream dress which is 100% customized and designed half by me which means noone will have the same dress as me... ever! and i love it sooooo much!!!!!

I cannot wait to show scottie! but i am super excited and love it soo much and its my dress! it is half paid for. It will come in somewhere around February and then i get to see all the real changes and im sure it will come out perfect! I cannot wait!
