Yes it happened! the shot is starting to slowely wear off and the anxiety is starting to peek through. This was easier when i wasnt planning for real now i actually have to make real decisions and that unexpectadly scares me. I know shock. right? even im surprised.
anyways.. back to engagement... oh how my mind wanders so much right now!
It happened Sunday May 4th at approximentlly for all you detail people, at 7pm!
I had a super long and rough day at work, scott came to bring me lunch since i couldnt take a break. (yup no hints here)
I left a little late becuase of the dumb guests who dont leave the store so i called to let him know i was running late. we had dinner plans and i wanted to shower and change before our 8pm ressies. I was rushing in the door ready to complain about my day as i dragged my feet to the shower and instead, when i opened the door i was SPEACHLESS!! i was like what the f*ck is going on?? there were rose petals allll over the floor and boquets of roses on the tables, etc. April had flowers around her neck and scott was directly infront of the door on his knee all dressed up. I noticed the clothes and clean shaven face before the sparkle in the black velvet box he was holding!! yes im a stickler for details. I stared at me for a second, i can only imagine my face and then of coarse said "will you marry me?" i honestly never ever thought i would react the way i did, but then again i never thought... this day would come... haha thats not what i was going to really say. ... i never thought it would really be a surprise. Anyways, i said prolly like 6 times "your kidding right??" my head couldnt comprehend what my eyes were seeing and i was thinking this isnt funny! but oh no, he really was serious! he held up the ring laughed a little and was like yes im serious. I think i also said something along the lines of are you sure?? are you really sure?? and are you serious another 3 or 4 times.
ok so hugging and tears and lots of phone calls later... we are ENGAGED and planning the wedding of a lifetime! hehe. and now all the scheming is coming out. I find out he drove to NY a few weeks ago without me knowing (not to mention without me!!) to ask my parents (awwwww..lol) He picked up the ring on Friday (i saw him on the road and grilled him to find out where he was going) and so many other lil things that im now like "ohhhhh". Well he got me! i was shocked all right.

oh and... we were late to dinner.
But we made a point to talk about a date idea at dinner becuase everyone we tell askes when! im surprised at all the questions actually after only a few hours or even a day but its okay.
we are thinking labor day weekend or colombus weekend 09 for all you curious people!
