We celebrated my youngest sisters' Sweet 16 this weekend, on Saturday. It was a hawiaan themed party and very well done. Each table was outfitted with a grass skirt. habiscous themed balloons welcomed guests to the party room. There was roughly 100 people there for the party with the dissappointment of a few not comming. mostly family. Oh well thier loss. It was a lot of fun. The party was catered but i wont talk about that now... We had our favorite DJ who has done every party since my graduation 6 years ago. Each guest was asked to come dressed semi- formal and recieved a homemade hawiian punch (made by myself) in a keepsake hurricane glass. Adults had designated table numbers and the kids took over (literally) the back of the place. All in all the music was OK.. no country :( the food was good and the company was great. It was nice to see people i never get to see even though i didnt get to talk to anyone i wanted to and the music was so damn loud i couldnt hear anyone i did try to talk to! Scott was happy, the sox won that night! He watched the entire game from a friends phone. while my sisters and i danced the night away. I took most of the pictures on my parents camera so i dont have many... i'll share a few.
